Clean Eating Kick Start

Thanks to this wicked and unrelenting sunburn (I mean its bad) I have been unable to get in my normal weekly workouts. Tomorrow I plan to hit the trail and get back in the groove with my tri training. However, with a lack of workouts to occupy my time Ive been able to focus on clean eating. Its been a while since Ive given a full day’s run down of my meals so here we go……

Pre-Breakfast – Large Coconut Water for Hydration and Replenishing Electrolytes.

Breakfast- Kashi Go Lean Crunch (Honey Flax), Fresh Berries, and Greek Yogurt- Super Filling and Loads of Protien

Mid Morning Snack- 1 small Clementine to Satisfy My Sweet Tooth

Lunch- My FAVORITE Sandwich (Whole Grain with Turkey, Cheddar, Arugula, Tomato and my Famous Cranberry Mayo) paired with some all natural hummus “chips”.

Post- Work Snack Unsalted Sunflower Seeds and Blue Corn Chips with Hummus

Dinner- Individual Greek “Stove Top” Meatloaf (recipe coming soon!), simple pan gravy and organic fries… A Greek diner platter if I ever saw one!

Now, this is a LOT of food. My WW point values are high right now but Im making sure to include healthy proteins and fats. My next goal is to bump up the veggie and fruit content! I can already tell a difference in how I feel. Eating well truly does make a difference. Why do I ever stray?
