Excuse me while I do a little happy dance for Friday. Whoop Whoop!! This week has been fine, above average if you will but I was just looking forward to the weekend. I mean, really, who isn’t? Anywho, I figured since I need to get my weekend on I would cram all of my blog goodness into one post today. Ready?
The Weigh In:
Week 2: 0.0 pounds for a total of 10.6 pounds.
I am not pumped for a 0 but I was expecting it. There are some water retaining factors in play this week AND my fresh veggie/fruit intake was down. I feel confident Ill see a drop next week! But, here is a weekly check in photo anyway…
Today’s eats were pretty repetitive so I wont bore you with riveting pictures of my string cheese. However, lunch was noteworthy has I checked out a new (to me)joint called Suzaku Cafe. They have sushi, crepes, and boba tea. It sort of sounds like a weird combo right? Plus it’s in a small little building across town so Id never ventured over.
Good think I took my judge-y pants off and gave it a try. The staff were extra sweet, food was super cheap, and everything was really tasty. My sushi was as fresh as anywhere and so good! I also tried my friend’s shrimp dumplings which were also delicious!
Next, my Princess ½ marathon training schedule is still moving right along. Since its snowing here today (YAY!!) I had to get my training run in at the gym. God bless Planet Fitness and their million treadmills.
My intended 5 miles actually turned into 4 (time crunch) and were really uneventful (read boring) but I was thankful to have somewhere close to my house to get them done.
Then it was a little pseudo date-night with the hubs and Marky Mark. We saw Broken City and lets just say watching Mark Wahlberg beat people up and talk all Boston-y and hot. Forget it! This movie could do no wrong.
Also, the movies were totally abandoned due to said snow. We pretty much had the joint to ourselves.
Last but not least the hubs and I signed up for our very first Color Run today!! It’s not until June but I’ve been dying to get involved in one of these happy looking races!
Im also considering a few others and am looking for input:
-Rock N Roll 1/2 Virginia Beach
For tonight Im off to pack my bags for a weekend trip to Wild and Wonderful WV. No worries- No Buckwild antics for me- just a quick visit with the folks.
Happy Friday!

Enjoy the Color Run!! I’ve done one before and it was a lot of fun. I’ve been intrigued by the Pretty Muddy series but so far there hasn’t been one close to me. Enjoy your weekend!!
